What we collect
When you contact us, book a clarity call, request organizing services, or use a Simpli-FI Life app, we may collect contact details you provide, project notes, service preferences, booking details, and messages you send to us.
The Simpli-FI Life Residential app on the App Store works without an account or sign-in. Items you save in the app, such as item names, rooms, and containers, stay on your device. Your saved data never uploads to us or to anyone else. App versions before 1.1 make no network connections at all. Version 1.1 and later connect only to download app improvements from our update service, described under App updates below.
Camera and scanning
The mobile app may request camera permission for private label scanning, room capture, and future inventory workflows. Camera access is user-started. Room capture uses Apple's RoomPlan on supported LiDAR devices. A scan produces a temporary session summary on your device, and the app does not save or upload room geometry or camera imagery.
Before any production feature stores real room scans, labels, receipts, food inventory, documents, or household records, Simpli-FI Life will use authenticated access, private storage, and consent-aware workflows.
App updates
Starting with app version 1.1, the app checks an update service run by Shorebird when it starts, so we can send you fixes and improvements between App Store releases. Versions before 1.1 make no network connections at all. The check exists only to deliver updates; to pick the right one it sends the app identifier and update channel, the app version, the patch number, the device platform and chip type, and an anonymous per-app identifier used for aggregate active-use counts. It never sends your saved items, scans, photos, or any household records, and it downloads updates rather than uploading anything of yours.
Shorebird's published documentation states that the update check carries no personally identifiable information. An update downloaded this way finishes installing the next time you open the app.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule calls, plan services, deliver organizing work, improve our website and app experience, prevent misuse, and maintain records needed to operate the business.
We do not sell household records, client files, or app data. We do not use real household details in public demos or source code.
Analytics and service providers
This website may use privacy-conscious analytics from Vercel and Google Analytics to understand page visits and improve the site. Analytics are configured to avoid intentionally collecting sensitive household details through URLs.
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, analytics, booking, email, payment, app distribution, and app update delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Your choices
You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided, subject to legal, security, and business recordkeeping requirements. You can also decline optional app permissions such as camera access, though some scan features may not work without them. Inside the app, Erase app data under Privacy & device data deletes everything the app has saved on your device.
Children
Simpli-FI Life services and apps are intended for adults managing homes, offices, and household systems. They are not directed to children.
